DESCRIPTION:The Queen Anne’s County Housing Authority will conduct a Public Hearing to receive public comment on a proposed amendment to its Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan. The amendment pertains to Section 8-III.B. regarding when rent reasonableness determinations are required. \nThe proposed amendment and the complete Administrative Plan are available for public review at the Housing Authority’s main office at the location specified in this posting. The proposed amendment will also be viewable in the alert bar on the home screen and by clicking HERE. The complete Administrative Plan can be viewed HERE. Notices regarding the plan’s availability will be posted at each Housing Authority development. Copies may be requested by contacting the Housing Authority directly. \nEfforts will be made to accommodate disabled and non-English speaking residents with five (5) days advance notice. The U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires PHAs to prepare and submit 5-Year Plans to outline their mission\, goals\, and strategies for serving low0income families in their communities. This plan also includes a progress report on goals and objectives established in the prior 5-Year Plan. \nThe proposed PHA Plan\, PHA Plan Elements\, and all relevant documents will be available for public inspection at the Housing Authority’s main office at the location specified in this posting\, in the alert bar on the home screen\, and by clicking HERE.
